Koldunism Combination Disciplines

Each combination discipline below requires Koldunism in addition to at least one other discipline. Each power lists its prerequisites alongside its effects.

All combination disciplines are considered rare and are Restricted for player characters unless approved by Admin.

Komnenos' Honor

Requirements: Defy Bane & Heed the Hellbound Heart

You may call upon the powers of the planet to which you are so closely tied to help keep you focused and virtuous. By drawing a sigil in blood on your flesh, you become more easily able to resist any temptations that would threaten your morality path, and even if you do make a mistake, you become less likely to lose a dot of your path in the process. The sigil lasts for one year, after which is must be renewed; it cannot be erased by accident, but an enemy who knows what it is could scrub or scourge it off you if they were determined to.

Requirements: Heart of the Wild & Plasmic Form

You may sink into the soil and not only claim it as your own but actually become one with it, gaining the ability to diffuse yourself throughout a twenty-mile radius. Once you have done so, you have basic awareness of everything that happens within that area, from the smallest insects going about their business to the loudest and most spectacular of supernatural fights. You may use any mental or social disciplines (for example, Dominate, Nightmare, or Presence) on any being within that range at any time, and furthermore need not come out of the ground to feed, simply sucking unlucky mortals and passersby down into sinkholes to drain their blood into the very earth itself. You also gain minor control over the weather in that area, allowing you to show your pleasure by giving the area mild evenings or vent your displeasure with rainstorms.

While you are in the earth, you cannot leave the area; if you attempt to do so, you return out of the ground at the edge of the territory you were guarding. More importantly for most users of this power, it creates a permanent bond to the earth when used; forever after, the area is considered your "native soil", and you must rest in earth from that area each night or awaken disoriented and weakened. Although it is possible to use this power more than once in different areas to become attuned to them, thus requiring a potpurri of earth to rest in, most vampires are understandably reluctant to make themselves so vulnerable.
