Casper is a Swedish "Ambassador" sent by his sire and several members of the European Camarilla establishment to start work on recruitment and arrangements for visiting Kindred dignitaries who are planning on pushing forward a North American military push. Casper is unlike the typical Brujah; he carries himself in a dignified manner and knows how to "play the game", acting as his sire's personal assistant in all things political and high society.

It is rumored that he has close ties to the French Toreador community, which brings him some clout compared to others of his bloodline.

Biography

Mortal Life

Born on the wrong sied of the tracks in Stockholm during the 1930s to a poor baker's daughter and an aspiring Jazz guitarist, Casper knew little of life's luxuries. He spent most of his youth as little more than glorified pick-pocket, wanting more than life had given him. An opportunity arose when his father had a song that was a temporary hit, enough to pocket away the funds to send Casper to a much better private school, hoping it would give the boy structure.

Surprisingly, he flourished in his studies and grew increasingly political in his interests as he grew unto his adulthood, fueled by a desire for fairness and social equality. He became a political aide to some of the polticians pushing for a more socially-minded country... which is how he met his "family".

Becoming a Ghoul

Seeing how useful the young charismatic politico Casper had gotten sparked the attention of some of the local Brujah, who watched his career with interest. Not one for personal fame, he acted as a "fixer", making sure the faces of the movement got what they needed and that backroom deals were made, particularly with the unions. That's where he met "Yan", a particularly hot-headed and outspoken union boss, who told him his father would like to meet him. Despite the odd nature of the request, Yan put Casper at ease and they agreed, and Casper was brought to a massive estate in the mountains.

This is were he met his sire-to-be, Ivar. An erratically passionate man, he looked not a few years older than his "son", his face decorated with strange markings; he ranted with an accent that vibrated the more primal aspects of Casper's soul. He spoke of great injustices unfamiliar to Casper even with his well-studied mind, and that he mustn't let the "bluebloods" control the lands unchecked, that a good king knows when to make an alliance and when to crush a greater foe.

He offered Casper a job: this was a tine of great change and he wished to have a part in shaping the future of this land. Casper would answer to him, and bring him all the goings-on in Parliament, and he would execute all of Ivar's orders all with Ivar's own network and financial backing to aid him. If he succeeded, Ivar would grant him the great honor of joining his family.

Offered a thick drink, he couldn't say no. Casper took his first step into the long night.

Embrace

Casper worked for Ivar's family for two decades, helping his sons and daughter's navigate a political world that seemed alien to them. Ivar's family was large, larger than most Kindred "families", as he was taught to call them. Yan told him that, due to his sire's dedication to providing for his fellow Camarilla crusades against their many enemies, they granted him... liberties deserving of his station.

Rumor was that Ivar was the son of a great hero from the Nordic sagas and a fabled warrior in his own right. It was hard to know the truth of his master's origins, but it was clear he was a feared and respected warleader for the Camarilla, often going into battle himself with some of his many capable childer, breaking up old holdouts once thought unbreakable. But these tactical strikes came at the price of the elder's sometimes erratic and capricious whims, so the establishment saved him for special occasions. Which, in those times of peace, Ivar would use to enact his own social experiments.

So, working in the backchannels of government, Casper helped turn the tide to push forward Ivar's "Nordic Socialism" - with stunning success, much thanks to the newfound strengths given to him by a regular intake of Ivar's gift. In the 1970s, Ivar saw fit to be true to his word. All his children were to be equal, so none would sire; instead, they would bring potential family members to be embraced by their father, Ivar, granting him a benevolent kingship over them and equality amongst themselves. Casper was reborn as Casper Iverson, 30th of his Ivar's childer.

Kindred Life

Though the 30th childe of Ivar (though few know if this number is accurate and how many may still live, and it's often thought that Ivar boasts this number to strike fear into those who might dare strike him down lest an army of childer seek bloody vengeance), Casper was given just as much respect amongst his family as any other member, and he grew to love them. His job, due to his political prowess and charm, was to act as Ivar's "emissary" among the Camarilla Kindred, delivering important messages, attending functions on his behalf, and making sure relations with the mainland European Camarilla were at a level to his sire's liking. Casper excelled at his new position, using his own magnetic charm and grace as well as being bolstered by the fact that he was a curiosity amongst his clan. Some Brujah saw him as a lapdog, but Casper would prove himself at rants, challenging those who would question his authenticity, speaking of great battles his brothers and sisters would take him to against the Sabbat hordes. Ivar would affectionately refer to his youngest as "Bragi", for reminding him of the Norse god of poetry ("and horseshit").

Perhaps Casper's greatest achievement was striking the alliance with the Toreador Anne d'Arpajon, Countess of Noailles. Through a series of romantic correspondence between her and Ivar (written by Casper, obviously), he brokered a healthy alliance and patronage with the Countess and is frequently seen at her many parties. It is rumored that Casper has been seen from time to time in her estate unchaperoned, but the Harpies assure everyone that the boy is merely delivering one of Ivar's famous love notes personally. It is never brought up that the Countess is one of those Harpies, and that Ivar has actually never been seen with her in person, but everyone has heard stories of their passionately inspired romance.

Arrival in Washington, DC

The Countess has recently been on record for asking Ivar to look into the status on the campaign to win back New France from the Sabbat, and see if they can hurry things along. After agreeing on whatever deal the two elders made, the Camarilla establishment saw fit to send Casper ahead to DC to set things in motion to prepare for Ivar and his warband's arrival (and recruitment) to lead a srtike northward, hopfeully shaking things up enough for those in the new world to get a foothold in the Quebec territories.

Casper's coming had been sent ahead to the Prince and arrangements have been made for him to stay in the city to prepare for the European delegation to arrive. Several visitors had very particular tastes that must be accomidated.
