Scene Summary

Ginevra is walking down the street on Embassy Row, excited about upcoming social events in Maeve Glaistig's and her own calendars. She drops mail off at the Tremere Embassy, then goes to the bank, greeting Tamsin Fortune as she passes. She heads for the Toreador Embassy and is suddenly accosted by Andres, who struggles to introduce himself due to a language barrier. Ginevra is concerned that he might be trying to mug her, but when Andres hands her a letter realizes that he is asking her to deliver it to Maeve, which she agrees to do.

Andres tries to leave, but Ginevra chases him, looking for information about his domitor. Andres apologizes for his struggles with English but manages to explain that he works for Casper Iversson, and indicates that Casper has an important message for Maeve. Ginevra is suspicious of the mention of Paris, but agrees to pass on the letter. After she asks Andres' name and he introduces himself, Andres leaves in spite of Ginevra's attempts to ask other questions.
