Theme

The themes of Stockholm by Night revolve around the martial conflicts and aspirations of the only major domain in Sweden, where the expansionist Viking elders in residence have given up none of their ancient dreams.

Themes explored in this game include:

Gone but Not Forgotten

The modern world is only one destruction
of an ancient place of many beliefs:
the decay of time is the greatest assassin.
Characters grapple with belief systems and ancient rituals that not only don't fit the modern day but may trap them in terrors of the past.
Old Grudges

At the heart of all anger, all grudges, all resentment
is a creature of fear
afraid of being discovered too soon.
Characters must confront feuds between families, clans, and peoples that stretch back centuries and may be too deeply entrenched to escape or change.

Plot
