Antediluvian Characters
The vampire characters below are collectively referred to as the Antediluvians, referring to their extreme age - far from being metaphorical, they are considered to have been alive before the great Flood of various mythologies. They are the founders of the main vampire clans and the original monsters that humanity first feared.
Although the Indo-European clans claim direct descent from the Antediluvians and furthermore believe that all the other clans and bloodlines in the world must also descend from them somehow, the vampires of the rest of the world tell their own, considerably less Eurocentric origin stories.
